About the Capital Campaign:
The new Crisis Center of Comal County facility is a testament to our commitment to providing full wraparound care to those in Crisis and Trauma. Situated on a 3.6-acre site along Landa Street in New Braunfels, Texas, the three-story building spans approximately 30,000 square feet, offering ample space for our operations.
The first floor boasts professional office spaces accommodating approximately 30 employees, complemented by an executive conference room, breakroom, and inviting lobby. For our residents, there are 24-hour intake services, along with six single occupancy rooms facilitating a smooth transition to safety. Additionally, amenities like the pantry, vocational kitchen, and day room, leading to a secured patio, enhance the residential experience.
Ascending to the second and third floors reveals a similar layout, featuring multi-tenant "Pods" with well-appointed living spaces. Each floor caters to the diverse needs of our residents, from counseling rooms to areas for children and quiet spaces for introspection. Security measures, including gated access and full control systems, ensure the safety and privacy of all occupants.
Furthermore, the site encompasses outdoor spaces like a playground and an animal shelter, demonstrating our holistic approach to care. With the capacity to accommodate nearly 90 residents and provide essential office space, this new facility equips the Crisis Center of Comal County to serve our community with greater efficacy and compassion.
